Anti-snoring mouth tape
Is your snoring a problem?
Releeves mouth tape keeps your mouth shut to clamp down on snoring.
Kick snoring out of bed. Sleep better (and quieter) with Releeves.
Fact: 40% of men and 20% of women snore. For some people, it's no big deal. For others, it's a real problem that impacts mental health and puts pressure on relationships.
For most of us, the solution is simple: keep your mouth shut during sleep. Tap into the science below.
1 Snoring 101
When you go into a deep sleep, the muscles in your mouth, tongue, and throat relax. So much so, they can sometimes partially block your airway and vibrate. The narrower your airway, the more powerful the airflow. The result? Snoring that makes your bedmate want to smother you to death.
2Move Over, Mouth Breathing!
Mouth breathing = 👎, Nose breathing = 👌
STOP mouth breathing during sleep. START nose breathing instead.
Why? Because relaxed mouth muscles won't matter. You can sleep soundly without loud snoring*.
No more keeping roommates awake all night
Wake up feeling rested instead of groggy
No more dry mouth or bad breath in the morning
*Every human being is unique. Some might still end up snoring when taping their mouth, but the volume will be much less audible and will not drive your bedmate to consider mortal combat.
3Why you need mouth tape in your life
When your mouth = 🤐,
Nose breathing takes over 👃

Stimulate nose breathing during your workout
Nose breathing during your workout has major benefits.
Frequently Asked Questions
It’s like asking if peanut butter and jelly go together. Yes, of course!
Mouth tape helps your body switch to breathing through your nose. Nose tape helps improve airflow through your nose. It’s like putting a turbocharger on your car engine.
Vroom! Vroom!
When you use mouth tape, your body is stimulated to switch to breathing through your nose. When you make the transition from breathing through your mouth to nasal breathing during sleep, the benefits are:
- Reduced/eliminated loud snoring. Is your snoring keeping your partner or others up at night? Then they will love you trying out mouth tape ;)
- Improved quality of sleep, which means you wake up feeling better rested.
- Less nightly disruption. Are you someone who regularly wakes up multiple times at night, with either a dry mouth or having to take a pee? Using mouth tape can help improve this. Both issues are often caused by mouth breathing during sleep, so using mouth tape can prove effective.
If you have no prior medical condition then trying mouth tape should be safe. However, it’s essential that you read the fine print on the back of the packaging first.
And most importantly: when in doubt, always consult your doctor.
Mouth tape can be very effective in reducing loud snoring and improving the quality of sleep for those who sleep with their mouth open (often the result of sleeping on your back).
But if the cause of your snoring/bad sleep differs, you will very likely need a different kind of treatment, possibly medical intervention. As such, it’s always advisable to consult a doctor to find out what is causing your snoring. Knowledge is king (or queen)!
Well, ask yourself this: what is the similarity between my skin, paper, carton and plastic?
Probably nothing, yes? (If yes, you might want to see a doctor, buddy… no joke).
The tape that you have lying around the house was made to be used to tape a Britney Spears poster onto your wall, tape shut the cardboard box with all your Halloween clown masks in or tape your side view mirror back after someone used it for batting practice.
Do you think the manufacturers of those tapes were cautious in selecting the type of raw material or type of adhesive that is safe for your skin? Dream on.
Our mouth tape was made for one single purpose: to help handsome folk like yourself (or your loved one) tape their mouth shut. This means we choose to use quality fabric, which is porous and very flexible and feels pleasant on your lips. The same goes for our adhesive - we use skin-safe adhesive that strikes the right balance between staying put but is still easy to remove once you’re done (without getting a free wax).
No probs!
Funny fact: I (Reginald, founder of Releeves) have a mustache. It’s not the fullest, it might not look sexy, but I can classify myself as being part of the bearded tribe.
Anyhow, I remember the first time I received a good prototype of Releeves mouth tape. As I put on the tape, I was surprised at how the side edges of the tape, which came in contact with the hairs on my face, felt like it was not sticking to my skin. I was convinced the mouth tape would not stay put and would surely come off during my sleep like the other prototypes. But guess what? The next morning, after not waking up a single time to have to take a pee (which on its own felt like a miracle), the mouth tape was still where I left it.
Since starting, many other members of the bearded tribe have tried Releeves mouth tape and shared the same positive experience.
See for yourself!
